St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children
Quality care delivered by compassionate people.

We believe in the power of people to create great care.
Recently acquired in partnership with Drexel University, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is the first pediatric tertiary care hospital within Tower Health. With more than 220 pediatric experts and a highly skilled team of clinical and support staff, St. Christopher’s provides exceptional care to children from throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and around the world.
Expertise in pediatric care
A leader in pediatric care since 1875, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is one of only three Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania and the only dedicated and Verified Pediatric Burn Center between New York City and Baltimore. St. Christopher’s was named as a Best Children’s Hospital and listed as one of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals for Emergency Care by the 2019 Women’s Choice Award®. In addition to providing outstanding general pediatric care, St. Christopher’s offers a wide array of specialized pediatric services, including Cardiology; Ear, Nose and Throat; Gastroenterology; Oncology; and Orthopedics.
Exceptional careers
St. Christopher’s offers rewarding careers in a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive setting, as well as opportunities for continued growth and development. We are leaders in our field, evidenced by our recent, third re-designation of Magnet status for nursing excellence, and our Center for the Urban Child which strives to keep children healthier by addressing the social determinants of health.
Convenient location
Our North Philadelphia location is conveniently accessible by public transportation, including bus, train, and subway routes operated by Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA).
